R.M. of Browning No. 34
The R.M. of Browning No. 34 is 18 miles by 18 miles and consists of nine townships: 4-4, 4-5, 4-6, 5-4, 5-5, 5-6, 6-4, 6-5, 6-6, all west of the second meridian. The rural municipality surrounds the Town of Lampman, and also has the hamlets of Willmar and Steelman within it’s boundaries. Browning is primarily an agriculture based municipality, with an extensive commercial assessment due to the oilfield and oil related businesses operating within the R.M. of Browning and the Town of Lampman. In 2002, the R.M. of Browning No 34 and Town of Lampman amalgamated administration of both municipalities into one joint office.
